देखना dekhnā[dekh˚= देक्ख(इ)=S. िआय(ित), the future of rt. दृश् (used in the sense of the present)], v.t. To see, look, look at, behold, view, observe, perceive, inspect, mark, note, consider, look to, weigh well, examine, prove, try; to search, scan; to watch (for); to feel (as the pulse, etc.); to experience, suffer, endure, tolerate, bear the sight of:—dekhnā-bhālnā, To see, look at, view, inspect, examine, try:—dekhne-meṅ, adv. Apparently, to all appearance:—dekhne-meṅanā, v.n. To come into sight, to be seen, to appear, be visible; to be observed; to be experienced, etc.:—dekhnehārā, s.m. On-looker, beholder, viewer, spectator:—dekh-pānā, v.t. To be permitted to see, to get to see; to find out, to ascertain:—dekh-paṛnā, v.n. To be seen, to be or become visible, to appear; to seem:—dekh-lenā, v.t. intens. of and=dekhnā.
