दोहा dohā[Prk. दोहा; S. िƮधा], s.m. An old and popular Prākrit and Hindīmetre; a couplet, distich (the two verses of which rhyme: each verse consists of 24 mātrās, which are distributed into feet of 6+4+3 mātrās respectively, with a caesura at the end of each first hemistich).
