धूआं dhū`āṅ, धुवां dhuwāṅ[Prk. धूवँ उor धूमओ=S. धूम+कः], s.m. Smoke; vapour:—dhū`eṅuṛānā, To reduce to poverty; also=dhajjiyāṅuṛānā, q.v.s.v. dhajjī:—dhū`eṅbakhernā, 'To scatter as smoke'; to exhaust (one's) resources;—to render speechless, to silence:—dhū`eṅ-pānī-kāsharīk, s.m. A sharer in smoke and water; next-door or near neighbour:—dhū`āṅ-dhār, s.m. A cloud of smoke, much or dense smoke;—adj. Smoky; hazy, misty, foggy; cloudy, dark, black, dense (as clouds); bright, beautiful, adorned;—excessive; fuming, boiling, raging;—adv.
