धन्वन्तिर dhanvantari, = S دهنونتر धन्वन्तर dhanvantar, s.m. The physician of the gods (who was produced atthe churning of the ocean holding a cup of amrit in his hands); a celebrated physician (also called Divo-dās, q.v.), who was king of Kāśi, and is considered to be the founder of the Hindūschool of medicine (cf. dhanattar).
