धुन्ध dhundh [Prk. धुƨ, fr. S. धूमः], s.m. Haziness, mistiness, fogginess, haze, mist, fog; cloudiness, darkness, gloom; thick cloudy weather; a dust-cloud; dim-sightedness, purblindness;—adj. Hazy, misty, etc. (=dhundhlā); bereft of sense or consciousness, intoxicated, besotted, stupefied:—dhundh-kāpasārā, The region of darkness, the world:—dhundh-kār, s.m. Mistiness, cloudiness, darkness, obscurity:—dhundh karnā, v.t. To make foggy, etc.; to intoxicate, to stupefy.
