धधच्छर dhadhaććhar [Prk. दƨअच्छरं; S. दग्ध+अक्षरं], s.m. lit. 'Burnt letters'; in versification, certain words or letters which are considered by Hindīpoets to be unlucky (as ह, ग, न at the beginning of a verse; र, ज, स in the middle; and क, ट, ज्ञ at the end).
