िदशा diśā, s.f. Quarter, direction, etc. (=diś, dik, qq.v.);—also=diśā-farāg̠at, q.v. below:—diśāphirnā, diśājānā, To obey a call of nature (=jhāṛāphirnā):—diśā-sūl, vulg. disā-sūl, s.m. Any inauspicious planetary conjunction, or sign in the heavens;—the quarter towards which it is deemed unlucky to travel on particular days; name of particular days on which travelling in certain directions is not allowed;—an inauspicious sign, a face of ill-omen:—diśā-farāg̠at, s.f. A call of nature:—diśā-farāg̠at jānā, v.n.=diśājānā.
