ḵẖiẓāb (inf. n. of خضب 'to colour or tinge'), s.m. Tinging or dyeing the nails and hair (especially the beard), hair-dye, hair-tincture (usually of a red or dark blue colour):—ḵẖiẓābě-āhanīphernāor karnā, To apply a razor (to the chin, etc.), to shave (the beard):—ḵẖiẓāb lagānā(-meṅ), To apply hair-dye, to dye the hair black.
