ḵẖarrād, vulg. ḵẖarād (prob. corr. fr. A. ḵẖarrāt̤, q.v.), s.f. A lathe:—ḵẖarād-par ćaṛhnā, and ḵẖarād ćaṛhnā, 'To be put on the lathe'; to be polished (by intercourse with a superior character, or with refined society).
