Empty, vacant, void, desert; hollow, having nothing in it, blank, not filled up, not full; unoccupied, unemployed, free; exempt (from, -se); devoid, destitute (of);—without effect, ineffective, inoperative;—pure, unmingled; mere, only, sole, single, unaccompanied;—adv. Alone, by oneself, singly;—idly, unemployed;—s.m. (?), The month between the festivals of `īdand bakar `īd (so called on account of no festival occurring during that period):—ḵẖālīanḍā, s.m.
