جھٹالنا

झुटालना jhuṭālnā= H جھٹانا झुटानाjhuṭānā(denom. fr. jhūṭā, q.v.; āl or lā= caus. affix), v.t. To pollute victuals by touching or tasting; to touch or taste (food); to leave (remains of food);—jhuṭālnā, v.t. To assert falsely, to falsify, to belie; to prove (a statement, etc.) to be false, to disprove; to prove (one) to be in the wrong; to give (one) the lie (=jhūṭākarnā):—muṅh jhuṭālnā, v.n. To taste food, to eat something:—muṅh-ā-muṅh jhuṭālnā, To give (one) the lie to his face.
