जन्ऽी, जन्तरी jantrī[S. यिन्ऽका], s.f. A perforated plate of steel through which ingots of gold, silver, etc., are drawn into wire;—an almanac, a calendar:—jantrī-meṅkhaiṅćnā, or nikālnā, v.t. To draw out into wire; to attenuate; to take the crookedness out (of one), make (one) straight.
