जथा jathā[S. यप्या], adv. (correl. tathā), In which manner, in which way, as, like as, like, according to, comormably to:—jathārth (S. yathā+artha), adj. & adv. Accordant with reality or fact, conformable to truth, true, exact, actual, real, right, fit, suitable:—conformably to the sense; according to truth or fact; in fact, exactly, truly:—jathārth-vādī(or -bādī), adj. & s.m. Speaking truly or fitly;—one who so speaks; a philosopher:—jathārth-vidyā, s.f. Philosophy:—jathā-jog, jathā-jogyā(S. yathā-yogya), adv. In a proper manner, as it should be, properly, suitably:—jathā-sakt, adv. According to (one's) power or ability, according to (one's) means (syn. ḥasb-ě-taufīq).
