s̤anā, s.f. Praise, eulogy, commendation, applause (it differs from ḥamdin having for its object either the Deity or man, whereas ḥamdis restricted to the Deity):—s̤anā-ḵẖẉān, adj. & s.m. Repeating praise, praising;—one who praises, praiser; s̤anā-gustar, adj. & s.m. Scattering praise;—one who scatters praise:—s̤anā-gustarī, s.f. The scattering of praise.
