भक bhak (probably onomatopoetic), s.f. Puff, blast, flash (in the pan), explosion;—dry powdered tobacco (which is easily puffed or blown away):—bhak-bhak, s.f. Puffing (as of an engine); roaring (of a fierce fire); sound expressive of the manner in which dust or powders fly up and about on being flapped:—bhak-se uṛ-jānā, v.n. To fly off with a flap or flop; to explode; to be cut clean off:—bhak-se uṛ-jāne-wālā, adj. (f. -ī), Explosive; combustible.
