भांवर bhāṅwar [S. ॅामर; rt. ॅम् ], s.f. Going round, turning round; revolution, circulation, circumambulation;—marriage (since an important ceremony at Hindūmarriages consists in going seven times round the sacred fire):—bhāṅwar pāṛnā, bhāṅwar phirnā(-ki), To go round; to circle, circumambulate; to be married; to be sacrificed.
