ba-sar, adv. To a head; to the fore; to an end, at an end:—ba-sar ānā, v.n. To come to an end, be finished, or accomplished; to succeed; to get away from; to come to the fore, come forward, contend or vie (with):—ba-sar jānā, v.n. To reach the end, to be finished; to pass away:—ba-sar karnā, v.t. To bring to an end, finish, accomplish, execute; to spend, pass (time, etc.):—ba-sar le-jānā, v.t. To bring to an end, etc. (=ba-sar karnā); to acquit oneself of; to surpass, outstrip:—ba-sar-o-ćashm. adv. lit. 'With head and eyes'; most willingly or heartily; most carefully:—ba-sar honā, v.n. To come to an end, be finished, spent, or passed; to vie (with), rival.
