उड़ान uṛān[S. उद्+डयन], s.f. The act of flying; flight:—uṛān-jhallā, s.m. A boys' game (resembling our 'ring-taw,' but played with cowries instead of marbles: syn. jhallā-mīrī):—uṛān-ćhū(ćhū= S. ित ु, 'presto!' or is onomat.), s.m. Flying away; disappearing; instantaneous flight:—uṛān-ćhūhonāor ho-jānā, v.n. To fly away; to disappear, vanish, be non est:—uṛānghā`ī, s.f. Trickery, deception, trick, ruse, stratagem; evasion, shuffling:—uṛān-ghā`ībatānāor batā-denā, v.t.
