अनिगना an-ginā(an+perf. part. of ginnā, q.v.), adj. Uncounted, unreckoned, untold; countless, numberless, innumerable, incalculable (=be-gintī, be-shumār):—an-ginābaras, s.m. lit. 'The unreckoned year'; the eighth year of one's age (cf. next):—angināmahīnā, s.m. lit. 'The unreckoned month'; the eighth month of pregnancy. (As an eight month's child seldom lives, the eighth month or year has come to be superstitiously regarded in the East as unlucky.)
