अण्टी anṭī, aṅṭī(see āṅt), s.f. A reel or frame on which thread, etc. is wound (=aṭeran, q.v.); a hank or bundle of thread; etc. (=āṅṭī, q.v.);—the space or junction between two fingers; two fingers placed one upon the other;—stealing or pilfering money, etc. by concealing it between two fingers:—anṭī-bāz, s.m. One who steals money by concealing it between two fingers; a pilferer:—anṭīkarnā, To wind thread on the hand, to make hanks of thread:—anṭīkarnā, anṭīmārnā, To steal money by slipping it between two fingers; to conceal anything between two fingers; to pilfer.
