अन्तः antah, anta, अन्तस् antas (changeable to antash = antar), adj. Interior, internal, inner, etc. (used as first member of compounds):—antah-pātī, adj. Included, comprised in:—antah-pur, s.m. A royal palace; the inner, or women's apartments:—antah-stha, anta-stha, s.m. lit. 'Situated in the interior or middle'; the semi-vowels य र, ल, व(so called because, in the arrangement of the Devanāgarīalphabet, these letters stand between the other consonants and the sibilants):— antah-śarīr, s.m. The inner or spiritual part (of a man), soul, conscience:—antah-karaṇ, anta-karaṇ, antaskaraṇ, antash-karaṇ, s.m. Understanding, mind, soul, conscience, heart; that which is in the mind, thoughts, will, intention, motive:—antahkoṇ, s.m. Inner corner; interior angle (=antarkoṇ).
