ن उमंडना umanḍnā[S. उद्+वतर् नीयं , rt. वृ त् , or rt. उद्+मदनीयं], v.n. To rise, swell, heave, surge; to increase; to be full, to well up; to run over, overflow; to burst forth, gush out, be poured out; to pour forth; to gather thick, to flock, throng; to abound; to be affected, touched, moved:—umanḍ ānā, v.n.=umanḍnā:—umanḍumanḍ-kar ronā, v.n. To weep violently or bitterly:—umanḍ-paṛnā, v.n. (intensive of umanḍnā), To burst out or forth; to sweep along, etc.
