iz̤hār [inf. n. iv of ظہر 'to appear, be manifest,' etc.], s.m. Manifestation, revelation, disclosure, demonstration, publication, display, declaration; statement, declaration in a court of justice or before police officers; information; examination of a witness, deposition, evidence, written testimony:—iz̤hār-i-taḥṛīrī, s.m. Deposition in writing; written testimony (opp. of iz̤hār-i-zabānī):—iz̤hār denā, v.t. To give publicity (to); to make a deposition; to depose, testify, give evidence, bear witness (to):—iz̤hār salāmī, s.m.
