उधेड़ना udheṛnā(caus. of udhaṛnā), 1˚v.n.=udhaṛnā, q.v.;—2˚v.t. To undo, unsew, unravel, unpick (sewing), untwist, unknot; to pull to pieces; to lay open, unfold, disclose, expose; to strip off, skin, flay, pluck, rip, excoriate, bark; to pull off the upper part of (as the crust of a cake, or the roof of a house); to pull up; open again (as a grave, etc.); to ruin, destroy; to impoverish, reduce to poverty; to waste, squander, dissipate, scatter, make away with, plunder:—udher-lenā, Idem:—udheṛ-ḍālnā, intens. of udheṛnā, v.t. To pluck out, pull up or off, rip open, lay quite bare, etc. (see udheṛnā).
