उभरना ubharnā[S. उद्+भृ ; see the trans. form ابھارنا ubhārnā], v.n. To rise, swell, be inflated; to come out fully, be developed; to rise up, form (as a pustule); to spring up, shoot, grow, increase, flourish; to run over, overflow; to be or become excited or inflamed, etc.; to feel the sexual passion; to be puffed up, be conceited; to rise from a sick bed; to recover from trouble or misfortune; to rally; to take oneself off; to take leave, depart; to make one's escape, to steal away; to come to light, be discovered or exposed, become public; to be unloaded, unladen, emptied (as a cart or boat).—ubhar ānā= ubharnāin most of its significations.—ubhar ćalnā, To be on the rise or increase; to run over, overflow; to become puffed up, vain, or conceited; to be gaining strength (after sickness, etc.), be convalescent; to be improving; to progress favourably.
